Remember those times
Where rain
Didn't bring tears
And send people running
With newspapers
On their heads
But danced with their feet

Remember those times
Where laughter
Filled the air
Like a natural breeze
Instead of screams
Of agony and anger
Of rage and smoke

Remember those times
Where you would try
To forgive and apologize
Than to blame
And point
With a shaky finger
As glares smother you

Remember those times
Where love was found

This was inspired when I realized that my life depended too much on the future, and I should be trying to depend on the present.
