The End and The Beginning
Friends have been lost and gained.
Relationships have blossomed and withered.
Knowledge has disappeared and been found.
New and old experiences have been had.
Now I stand in my cap and gown,
Surrounded by the familiar faces of my classmates.
Tears blaze paths down my face.
I can’t believe I’m finally done.
Four years of my life now finished,
And uncertainty lies ahead.
I clutch my diploma while shaking a hand,
And take the first steps to my future.
