That one night,
that one night that I just don't care about
the drama or my school work or whats going on at home.
It's that one night of just me and my friends.
Where I get to dress up and get my hair done.
My dress was pink and had jewels at the top
That night is prom night.

Getting our hair done at the salon,
getting ready to go at my house just me and my friend
Arianna. Going out to eat and not really eating anything.
It is that one night were I can just have fun.

Getting to the prom and seeing all the lights and
the decorations I would never have know it was in
our own school. See all my friends in their beautiful
dresses and their hair all done up. I danced and sang to every
song they played.

That one night on that day of May 12th.
Where all of the drama and stress of school is gone.
That one night where it's my turn to have fun in school.
