Different Kinds of Love
I love you, so what?
What does that mean, to you, to me?
I love you, whether you’re black, white, red, yellow or green,
Or even something in between.
I love you, so what?
Why does it matter who you are or what you do?
I love you whether you’re fat, thin, ugly or pretty,
We don’t even have to live in the same city.
I love you, so what?
When should anyone judge what I do?
I love you whether you’re middle aged, young or old,
To me, you’ll always be pure gold.
I love you, so what?
Where can I keep so many feelings in one place?
I love you whether you’re gay, straight or bi,
To you, I will never, ever say goodbye.
I love you, so what?
Who should care what you mean to me, or what you do?
All I know is that I love you.
