The Air We Breathe (Mother's Day Poem)
Each breath we take,
Provides us with life,
It heals us, leads us
And prepares us for strife,
The most essential,
Air of all,
Is the one we share with loved ones,
Winter, spring, summer, or fall,
Winter air,
Does flips and spins,
Like a confident gymnast,
It knows where it begins,
Spring gusts,
Are like a talented performer
Bringing the earth to life
And making it much warmer,
Summer drafts,
May be the most important of all,
It sets the bar,
For the chilly fall
The fall draft, however,
Brings us muchmore,
Provides crisp trials
For us to endure
Through thick and thin,
We make it through,
I’m so glad to share my air,
Especially with you.
I love you mom! Happy Mother’s day!
