so long
So long to the feelings I've locked inside
So long to the times I've left behind
So long to the tears at night I've cried
So long to the era of letting down my pride
So long to all my secrets I've had to hide
So long to all the mistakes I've let to slide
So long to my weakness
So long to the time of letting you transgress
It's the new me; changed and clean
I'll do anything even changing my genes
To stop your shadows deepens my fears
To stop you from degrading me I'm not just a "mere"
It's your time to listen so open your ears
I've listened and done for you, I had enough all this years
So long to all your unfairness
It's time to wake my awareness
I'm more than just a "she"
I'm girl, I'm spontaneous I'm me
I want to be taken seriously
I don't want to be suppressed mysteriously
So long to me being dastard
I've tossed that version in the trash
So long to me being coward
I've turned that person into ash
So long to be criticized by others
I suffer while they sleep on feathers
It is time to be heard and respected
It time to be happy instead of dejected
It's time to be accepted instead of rejected
Because I deserve to
It's time to put yourself in my shoe
Let's trade our minds for just one second
Maybe this way you'll understand
What it's like to be underestimated before you stand
What it's like to be a joke for what you've been granted
Let's trade our hearts
Maybe this way you'll feel how much it's hard
Maybe you'll estimate all the over years scars
So, so long of all these discrimination times
It's time to live, to be cherished and shine
