Lost Dreams
Lost dreams,
Haunt at night,
Like smoke, they swim,
through the night light.
Like crystals, not rain.
They fall,
Smash your head,
Crack your toes.
Attack your lives.
Tear new dreams out.
Like raw meat they stink,
Stretch like old gum.
A catalyst.
Murderer, they kill us
slowly and painfully.
Dig us a grave.
Slowly we fall in,
Unknowing we’re prey.
