Underdog
Being me isn't hard,
but it isn't easy either
I know who I am and don't really care what my peers think
for this attitude I am punished
it makes them feel...
insecure
knowing that those hurtful glares
the give me don't
"put me in my place"
Although I know I am
I'm more than just
The Underdog,
I'm me
and not even
the cruelest remark can change that
