The Truth of the Matter
"Hope is greater than fear" they say, but I have come to find,
That no matter what I think or say, it's always on my mind.
Fear of this, and fear of that, the list goes on and on.
Tugging lightly at my feet, until the break of dawn.
No false hopes were intended, but somehow they still remain.
Laying on the floor, soaking up the rain.
They whisper in your soul,
and knock at the door of your heart.
If just depends on your strength, if they're allowed in our not.
A fear of hope?
Or hoping for fear?
It can go either way.
But in the end, your heart will know, that they will never be the same.
