Changing Seasons
In summer I find myself happy,
with my amazingly crazy friends.
Laughter swallowed out the tears.
My smile and voice are my guard,
But my frown still reappears,
And memories come swarming back.
When I look back,
I am weak and fake,
Like,
I change with seasons.
My needs set aside,
And believing has slowly melted away.
Why am I here?
Or why do I even try anymore?
Though willingly,
Friends have hope,
And give me hope.
So,
I sit here,
On this rainy day,
In heartache.
