Dance of Myself MAG
Ten toes pound the soil; two feet are the receivers of every vibration of the earth.
Leap; welcome warmth, settle in my bones.
Put your hand on my back like you do the birds and let me fly,
Even if just for a split second.
Kick; show the trees, your brothers, that they're not the only ones who can reach the sky.
Turn; and with your body, spin your head.
It's too easy to look straight, and that's what everyone tells you to do,
But I'm always sure to peek at the Four Corners.
Rock; feel the sea at your sole and drift.
Back and forth, up and down,
Until you've gone so far you can't turn back,
And you've stopped hearing others tell you to regress, as well,
And you're happy.
Stamp; don't tune out your Mother, but let her inhabitants know you're here.
Let firm rocks smile at you,
Sagacious owls nod,
And eroding rain humble at how much more change you can bring.
Bow;
And gaze longingly at your eternal bed.
