Favorite Quote:
One of the hardest things you'll ever have to do is to stop loving someone because they've stopped loving you.

It keeps replaying in my mind
Over and over and over

I didn’t want to do it
I still liked you
I almost bailed, at least 10 times
“I can’t do it”

But my friends helped me
They knew what had to be done
They knew you were being a jerk
You didn’t care

Even though you hurt me
I didn’t want to cause you pain
If I had known you’d be so heartless
I wouldn’t have worried

But the truth is the truth
I still like you
No matter how many times I say otherwise
I really do

But you’ve been ignoring me
You like another girl
So I did what I had to do
I didn’t want to date a guy who didn’t like me

It may have hurt
But I know now it was the right choice
And someday I’ll get over you
Hopefully it’ll be soon

I really like your poem, how it speaks from the heart. It sounds really personal, and I like how you never say that you're talking about a break-up in the poem, but that's what it's titled. It's a great poem! :)
