The Silence entwines
Why is it htat silence entwines our bones,
when what we fear is taking place,
we lose ourselves, breaking against the stones,
the adrenaline comes, and our hearts race.
In the moment, our heart are just like waves,
breaking against the stones that are the end,
your silence, is done while moving past graves,
you've moved on, without so much as a friend.
The stones are at the end of a river,
the waves are you, the river your life,
the silence shows your place, just a sliver,
everone hits the stones, sharp as a knife.
The graves you walk past, are your very own,
you only have until you hit the stone.
