The only people who don't get anywhere are the people who don't dream of a better place for themselves...

Love breathes in,
So faint,
Calming...
Setting flames upon a heart in denial,
Burning...
Burning...

Now contentment slumbers behind eyes of silver,
Quiet,
Silent,
...And beautiful.
But how will it last?
How?

When temptation waits outside the dream we've created?

Whispering lust into our words,
Keeping intimacy as distant as Heaven,
So far away...
Away...
Night disguises the color of our passions,
Forgotten.

They beg release...
But how will they fly?
How will we see?

When we've been so blind?

This is reflecting back on a time when I had so many questions for a boy I loved so long ago... And I still do. I wish I hadn't spent so much time doubting him, and more time letting him know how much I adored him... This is for you, love.

Very very relatable and true. The style you have is constant, but not tiresome, which is very good. It's unique, but the repetitions are well placed. Very good job. 5/5

I like how u ended with the poems title, and i also luv how u use elipses all the time. it leaves people begging for more. Awesome awesome job.

There is no such thing as nothing, yet there is such thing as nothing, simply because there is nothing such as nothing.

This is how I picture lost love. Stunning.

"Would she hear me if I called her name? Would she hold me if she knew my shame? Would she even love me if I was to blame?" -Favourite poem ever♥

Ahem.

Firstof all, I just want to tell you I bsolutely love this poem. I love the way it flows with passion and insecurity. I really enjoyed the way it really tugged on my emotions, and as I read it I felt them move along with the poem. This is a very touchy suject with most, the idea of a loved one, being so intimate, and yet so distant. I, personally, believe that you have captured every girl's insecurity and rising question of "Is he truly 'The  One'?" The bottom line is, this poem made me be knocked off my feet both times I read it. 5/5.
