I Know You
Oh, I know who you are. You are: shakers and floppers,
SCREAMERS and WAILERS!
You dance and dance, jumping about even though you’re in
church.
Arms reaching heavenward are waved around
and around like some odd machine. Hoping for what?
Let me tell you who you are. Amen-ers! Shouters! As if he’s not
Preaching.
Oh and let me tell you who you are!
Those tongues people.
Yes. That’s the problem.
That’s what you are. Can I ask you,
Didn’t you know that church is
Quiet?
