A pen is a sword that has a shield of paper and an armor of words

They laugh
At me
Tears
Erupt from the sky
To calm my heart
As I hold my head high

They don't know
Their words
Actions
Leave scars
With gashes and gore

The invisible wall
Prevents me
Prevails me
But exposes me
As their fingers
"Pure" from mine
Point at my face

I cry
Stumble
Fall
Bleed
As their laughter rings
Words of hurt
Come out of my mouth
Only to be blocked out
By the wall

This is to those who are discriminated and to those who feel hurt by their surroundings. This is for those who fall and stumble. May we all rise again.

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Wow... I can really feel your emotion in this poem. If it is true- I am so sorry - no one deserves to be treated like that. If it isn't true, great job, because it seems so real. Keep up the great work, you are good at writing :)
