Shine For Me, Star
Shine for a second, star
So I can find you in the sky
And for a moment give me one thing to fixate on
That doesn't involve some demon
Bring your light to my night sky
I ask of you, shining star
Light the ground where I walk so softly
So I can find my way there
Help me up from the bed I lie in
Shine to break this dark, cold place
Lead me down the road to the right
Bring me close to see you clearly
If I can see your face in my life
If you'll always stay in my sky
If you'll bring me closer to you
This place will be light, beautiful new.
