Sometimes the world just moves too fast
rushing by so quickly it's painful
sometimes it hurts so bad to let go
as if life is only a tease
stealing things away as fast as it gives them to you
sometimes it is better when the world moves in
slow-motion
when everything is muted
when everything is whirled and blurred
when all of the sharp corners of the universe turn into soft curves
and there is no pain
only slow-motion
