I open the book,
I am pulled into a world unlike my own,
Away from my life and troubles.
I am someone else.
I walk in the shoes of the character,
I follow their decisions,
I grow as they grow.
But all too soon the resolution is here,
And I feel sad,
Closing the book.
That made up world just disappears...
