The King of Fools
What can I say?
For the light shaded by the moon will show the way
Only you, King of Fools, can sweep me away
Alas watching over so much heartbreak
I soon thought no more joy I could make
But my heart, my breath are for you to take
And so the King of Fools has fallen in love
With the Angel of the Moon so high above
I shall bring you my lovesick message by a dove
Will you catch me when wings fail, this of when
Will you still love me, if I am a simple girl again
Will you stay true, answer this, only then
Coming to you in your dreams
Bending reality and tying loose seams
Together we'll explain to each other what our love means
Your kiss ignite from deep, an eternal fire
Your breath against mine only brings me higher
I hope your love for me will never tire
An Angel of the Moon has fallen in love with a fool, what can I say?
Memories have I, contented in your arms where I lay
And as more to come, this shall be our way
