Tear Drops
Pitter, Patter…
Pitter, Patter…
My tears fall like rain,
For what you put me through
Has left my heart in pain.
We were once best friends,
But you tore even that apart,
And I thought friendship never ends,
You put a stake through my heart.
Pitter, Patter…
Pitter, Patter…
My tears fall like rain,
For you once were the only one…
The only person that kept me sane.
I lit a fire,
And I watched the flame
Grow higher and higher,
And you’re the one to blame.
Pitter, Patter…
Pitter, Patter…
I hold a picture in my hand,
With a blank stare upon my face;
This argument was not planned,
For a million hours, I pace.
I throw the picture in,
As I watch the face of a stranger burn,
I let it go to ashes,
And it makes my stomach turn.
Pitter, Patter…
Pitter, Patter…
You shattered my fragile heart,
And now my heart cries…
For you ripped it apart,
Now our friendship dies.
Pitter, Patter…
Pitter, Patter…
My tears fall like rain,
I hear a knock at my door,
And I try to hide the pain…
I hear, “Sorry,”
And my jaw drops to the floor…..
