My Angel in Heaven

I saw you then,
the smile on your face,
I remember the look,
that i will never erase,
the look of a friend,
that would never let me down,
yet I am looking up,
to see where you are now,
an angel for all,
with a heart of pure gold,
a soul that's not lost,
but that has finally gone home,
to the sky's above,
where we know you are,
those millions of miles,
that seem so far,
yet you are always here,
inside my heart,
telling me to smile,
and setting my tears apart,
I will never forget you,
or the love that you gave,
my angel in heaven,
still with me today...
