It's Too Quite
The stillness of the night
The peace in the air
Darkness surrounds me and all I see is moonlight
Nobody's here.
Alone, I sit in the silence
Alone, I stand
Alone, I lay in the silence
Alone, I am
It's quiet, a little too quiet, so quiet I can't even hear my own heartbeat.
So quiet I can't even hear me think
All I hear is silence, not even the footsteps of my feet.
All I hear is silence, not even the sound of my body beginning to sink
Alone, I sit in the silence
Alone, I stand
Alone, I lay in the silence
Alone, I am
Covered in a blanket of silence, alone I sleep
So quiet I can't hear my own breath
I lay my head on a pillow of silence so deep
I can't hear my own death...
