Fires roared
And people screamed.
Dust fell
And papers crashed to the ground.
Sirens rang.
And the silence shuddered.
That gruesome day,
Of 9/11.
The planes had landed,
Where people had dread.
The buildings are gone,
And the whole world mourns.
