Ignited
With our shattered love
Only memories holding us back
It’s so hard to move on
With all these broken pieces
Haunting me
Do you still even think of me as I think of you?
Who knew that we could loose so much?
As time passes by
I still couldn’t help but remember
How our love was ignited
How we felt connected with our hearts
Soulfully linked with one another
As I wallow in pain
Only having darkness as my company
I try to understand how it all got to this
But as time passes by
Like autumn leaves floating around and flying away
I may still not know the answer
But I know this
There’s no point for me to linger around with faded memories
And a once ignited love
