Mask.
She cries
But they only see her smile
She acts like she's fine
No one would understand if they knew
So thats why she lies
She thinks it's easier that way
Less painful
She's scared
Cause if she showed the real her
It gives people the opportunity to use it against her
So she continues to cover up
And hide who she really is
And lives in a world where nothing is real anymore
Where people see the make believe version of her
She lives in a dark abyss
Surrounded by shadows of what used to be
Full of uncertainty
She cries
But they only see her smile
