My Nightmare
I am lying in bed,
Hearing you yell,
At first I listen,
To what you tell.
Nothing is new,
It's all the same!
can’t one of you,
Just take the blame?
First it is money,
and then it is sex
Oh... come here honey,
WHO SENT YOU THAT TEXT!
I cry at first,
And want it to stop,
But I know it won't,
Till you call the cops.
Under my covers,
I lay again,
This night occurs,
It's all a blur.
I hear her cry,
I hear you scream,
Can't you just,
Join one team?
Hours pass bye
and it just gets louder.
I turn up my music,
and start to cower.
Where is my mom,
where is my dad?
Where is my hope,
I feel so bad.
3 am
I fall asleep
I never seem,
To say a peep.
The people come,
They're supposed to help
But they dismiss.
then his fist
Take me with you
You go out the door
I feel the dark
There is no spark
I go to school,
with a smile-
they don't buy it,
but make a file.
When you ask me,
how I am
I say “fine,”
but hear the slam.
Goodbye fair world-
There is nothing here
I bid farewell
Where is my spear
There it is-
I cut so deep
Finally over
Life is cheap
