You’ve left entirely,
And emptiness is all that surrounds me.
I would like to think that if you were still here we’d be happy.
You’d hold my hand like you always did,
You’d stroke my hair like you always did,
You’d smile,
We’d laugh,
We’d talk,
But I know it’s a lie.
You were miserable under that façade.
Your smile was false,
Your laugh was false,
Your love was false.
All your lies made me fall for you,
Now you’re gone.
I still want your lies,
But I love them enough to let you go.

Written for all the people who've been dumped and are still in love with the person. I was actually listening to Katy Perry's The One That Got Away song while writing

I completely related to this. I also love your title. What wondrous skills you have to put so much emotion that pulls at my heart strings into something so short and simple! Great work again. :P
