The Moon
To make up this morning
I couldn’t think of another way
It was a seriously bad day
For the moon that cried its final fall
The stars and space mourned for all
Little girl, little girl what do you see?
As she sat there, all alone, crying
And whispered, “The Moon is dying”
Is this was how it was suppose to be
The midnight sun falling from the sky
How will she sing her lullaby?
This day could be a many worse
But now it feels as a devil’s curse
Lost as the light is now forbidden
To be done, can we be forgiven?
It was a serious day
And I needed to find my way
