Paper Towns
Everything
Is flimsy
And disposable.
It will all
End
Up in the
End
Less
Landfill.
Pictures,
Pens,
Christmas
Tree ornaments,
Letters,
Cell phones,
TVs,
Lamps,
Even the
Grand piano.
Everything
We hold dear
Will one day be
Gone.
It might take
Generations,
Or a few days
But everything
In this paper
Town
Will be gone
Someday.
Even you and
Me,
One day our
Precious lives
Will too
End,
One day we
Will be
Nothing
But
Decay and death,
Dirt under
The flimsy
Flowers,
The faded
Grass
Of our paper
Town.
One day we will
All be gone.
And we must
Ask ourselves,
What do we
Have
To live for?
