A notebook full of pink scrawl.
Written by a girl you saw on a train.
The girl, you saw. The girl, you admired. The girl, you loved.
The girl, you prayed shared your overdeveloped feelings.
You saw, from afar. You admired, from afar. You loved, from afar.
You prayed for far too long, from afar.
You, my dear misguided friend, live in the outskirts of the world.
The loner. The secret admirer. The mysterious one.
But you do not approach. Fore you are either timid or ill-advised.
A notebook full of pink scrawl.
Words about you. Pages about you. Worlds about you.
You live in her shadows. You are her sun.
