Tao of Confidence
Tao of Confidence
To dream is to be happy,
And to be whole in one’s own mind.
One can only dream if he is whole and true to his own heart.
One mustn’t give into the passing, yet constant,
Trend of spitting at the beast with no tail.
Do not allow your ears to drink of the poison
That floats through the air,
Pouring from the open-mouthed beasts,
Or be changed into one of their kind.
Do not allow the glowing, hot eyes of such beasts
To penetrate the soul,
Without stopping to instigate the stares.
For soon they will grow tired and move on,
But only if you help them on their way.
