Forgotten

I don’t mean to be quiet,
I don’t mean to be shy,
I don’t want to be alone,
For the rest of my life.
You might see me cry,
As you walk down the halls,
I might make you awkward,
Or you don’t notice me at all.
I’m normally happy,
All of the time,
But when I am forgotten,
I can’t help but cry.
