"Dance like no one's watching.Sing like no one's listening.Love like you've never been hurt. Live like its heaven on earth." -Mark Twain

I thought I was important
Special and cool
I guess I was an idiot
I guess I was a fool
I thought it was awesome
I thought life was swell
But I’m alone once again
Alone in Hell
I thought I’d never falter
Never find myself so cold
But as they days grown shorter
And the promises so old
I begin to see the world for what it is
I begin to see the lies
Made to cushion and comfort me
Once like roses now like flies
Off came the rose color glasses
To find a desolate scene
They kind that leaves you empty
You know what I mean
Reaching out with finger tips
Only grasping air
I thought I’d find you waiting
I thought you said you care
But I fell off the edge here
Back to that dark damp place
I wonder if you can read this pain
On a blank tired face?
I bet you think I’m happy
I bet you think I’m fine
I bet you think I’m silly
But I’m falling without life line
I guess this is it
As I hit the ground
Too broken to stand up
Rip apart by truths I’ve found
Here in the dark where no one can see
Here I’ll lie down and cry
Here is where you’ll find me
And now you know why
