I Wish it Was Just a Dream
We were so young,
And we were so clueless.
We fell head over heels,
Into this crazy stupid love.
I loved you like air.
You became my world.
You made everything better,
When my world was crashing down.
But it all changed so quick.
Your interest turned elsewhere.
It felt like a dream.
No, an agonizing nightmare.
And I prayed I'd wake up any minute.
But I was trapped in the dark.
My air was gone,
I suffocated from the tears.
Things would start to turn around,
But again you'd change your mind.
Thing got rocky.
My world blurred and fell.
I became nothing.
