White Rabbit
Bunnies
Running rampant
Never stopping to let me rest
As I chase them through fields
Of grass and wildflowers
I get close to catching one
Diving at the ground for it.
It’s gone
It just disappeared
Like a magic rabbit from
A magician’s hat
That’s the one I wanted
Though.
I don’t like the others
They are all brown
Black
Or spotted
The one I wanted was white
It would have been
Wonderful to catch
Maybe next time
I’ll catch the white rabbit
And I’ll finally
Be able to
Have an idea to write about
