Honey it's not suppose to be this way,
you're too beautiful to be hurt,
you weer meant to be loved with all that you are,
those marks weren't your fault,
he told you he was never gonna do it again,
you heard the words "baby I love you,"
that made it all okay,
after all the pain
you truly believed his every word,
you told yourself it was all you
he did nothing wrong,
but sweet heart you need to realize
you never deserved this,
honey it's not suppose to be this way,
you're too beautiful to be hurt,
so just let him go.
