Forgive and Forget
To see without seeing
Is to un-see the pain of the world.
To hear without hearing
Is to un-hear all the painful cries of life.
To feel without feeling,
That...
That is to be numb and forget all the pains in life.
To feel without feeling is
taking back all the heart ache,
Taking back the things that built you up as a person,
Taking back experiences,
Forgetting what it took to get you there.
Being numb isn't always a good thing,
You wallow in self pity,
You feel depressed,
You do things,
Things you are not proud of.
But being numb can help you heal.
Never forget yourself,
Remember who you are and who you want to be.
Be the person you are proud of.
Heal yourself and become strong,
Confident,
And proud.
You are who you are and no one can change you,
Except you.
