Sometimes
Standing in the rain
Is not the wisest thing
For dripping fingers smudge
The lines we so carefully draw
Our own Andromal stains
Keep with us now through sun
But dew can echo back the tears
Racing raw with frictioned force
Of when, for once
The pain was gone
And we were nothing
Before the dawn
