“You can't help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn't spell it right; but spelling isn't everything. There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn't count.”
- Winnie the Pooh

I don’t belong anymore
This feeling of total displacement
It’s getting to be too much,
Too much to bear

Encased in these unfamiliar walls and floors,
Trapped in this box without memories,
I sit here lost in this foreign land
Without a way of getting out

I’m stuck in a house,
In a room
With boxes stacked high
Covered in my name in permanent, black lettering

Permanent…

I will forever be stranded in this permanent change
This permanent “home”
Though it smells weird
Though it makes my body cold

“Give it a chance,”
I try but I can’t
Because I don’t belong here
I’m a stranger here

I’m alone,
Alone and I have nowhere to go
Since home is where the heart is
And my heart is somewhere else
