When Adam took the Apple
When Adam took the apple,
blame dismissed responsibility,
temptation replaced resistance,
and sin became a part of all fertility.
When Eve obeyed the beast,
justice was overpowered by bias,
judgement canceled forgiveness,
and perfection clouded with blindness.
When humanity abused free will,
bliss was stalled by misery,
feelings empowered by lust,
and hostility abducted chivalry.
When Adam took the apple,
mercy chased sin to its grave,
love wounded hate,
and God forgave.
