Longing for Love
A face so unknown, yet I dream of every night
Has me longing for love, something so cherished
I wish for the words that you spoke to me
As I rested my head, and your face came into sight.
For what has only been a vision, something so far off
It's merely unimaginable that the emotion follows me
through out the day, as I picture the face,
and the eyes that stare at me, so soft
Hold me, I say, cringing at your touch,
Walk away from me, never
Forever you shall I love.
Let me feel your embrace
Your fingers entwine with mine
Forever I'll Stay, You say
as your image turns to dust.
I awaken with a feeling,
longing for love
