A flower climbing up a wall
Is nothing but a wallflower
Lonely and Forgotten
But forever watching

And ugly kind of pretty
No one seems to notice
Walked by everyday
Forgotten in every way

Knowing secrets
Seeing Lies
The stoic figure standing by
Silent, lost, and shy

A poet's work is to name the unnameable, to point at frauds, to take sides, start arguments, shape the world, and stop it going to sleep.

Great poem, short, sweet, and to the point, it gives a perspective I've never thought of before. Great job! Check out my work if ya want :)

I was a wallflower once, but I've since come out of it... the book The Perks of Being a Wallflower kind of helped with that. Think you could check out my work sometime?
