One day my mum told me about a little girl she only existed in her own little world,
Sad thing is this story is true,
It tells the story of me and you,
We ain’t never gone without a meal so a bro can eat,
We don’t have to live out there on the street,
Fact is we got life easy, but life’s never easy is it?
It’s never easy no matter what
It don’t matter if you got it or not
Or what you gonna do if you fall
we all do at some time
It ain’t easy ya’ll
see everyone might have a mum not there
or a dad who just don’t care
what about those parents lost to the law (both sides)
it’s neither here nor there;
I have one question do we see their pain?
And what does compassion really mean?
If we can live in here and not out there,
if we eat three meals a day, does that mean were happy?
Well the answer is no,
see fact the rich are sad
and the poor live a life
where what you got today is good enough
‘cos it might be worse tomorrow
and most of wont their truth
