Inspiration Series I - Shape
Here finally the culmination of
My art, my blooming, my whole sentience –
The burning sun through crystal brilliance.
The very letter have been shaped by love:
The curving “s,” the solemn dot above
A stable shaft, the stern belligerence
Of a linear “k.” The eloquence
Of sound: found in the cooing of a dove
(in coupled “o”s) or the sharp sliding in
Accusatory “u.” Fluidity
In sound and shape finally printed – black
And white – sharp forms on precious paper thin.
Rhyme now with rhythm – sweet felicity
Of poetry’s completion mends the crack.
