Better Broken
If broken shards fit me better than whole souls,
Then be it,
If messy glue holds me closer than glossy corners,
Then I’m glad,
I didn’t grow forwards,
There were twists and turns,
Each root tripped me,
Gasping breath beneath the grunged dirt,
Shattered.
Yet,
With my tears are tainted with colorful glitter and dark smears.
I’d so rather them be pure.
