I wish I could kiss you.
I wish I could hug you.
I wish I could look into your sparkling blue eyes
And tell you how beautiful they are.
I wish I could lay with you
Watching the sun set.
I wish I could hear your voice again,
Telling me that you love me.
I wish I could hold your hand
As we watch the fireworks at Disneyland.
I wish I could hear you say my name
And look at me like you’ve never seen anything more beautiful.
I wish I could be with you
But you gave it all up.
…and for what?
