I Noticed.
See him eat the bullet.
Saw that girl take a dose to many.
I even saw that noose he laid along his neck.
The discolored skin where she made her scars.
He saw his life flash;
He took his final step.
Down, down, drown.
The river carried his corpse away.
As the wind blew hers.
I heard their final words.
They thought this would be better.
Didn't know til it was to late.
That each one had their own abuser;
Didn't know that did you?
You beat them down.
Six feet under the ground.
By the words you said.
Did you even notice their disappearance.
The bruises that never seem to go away?
Or the scars along their wrist.
