Planting
A heavy cloud of grey
So heavy buildings crash
The grey of human hate
Yet to be eliminated
The heart has been clouded
The grey gets in the blood
The dust irritates the eyes
Blindness and obscurity
In the body, the eyes
The heart, the grey expands
And travels to the mind
All three are tainted
Love is less vibrant
Vision is blurred
Thoughts morph based on
False insight
An explosion of bitterness
Creates a crater
A crater from which dust sprays
Releasing bitterness again
A circle of reaping and sewing
But nothing of worth
Is being planted
The earth moans
But if I take a hand
And it follows me to a field
Our hands can begin
Planting nourishment, together
There is hope and
Love is remembered by
The earth and her soil
Sings of richness
This love will grow and
Spread out to one then
Another will continue on
Loving and trumping hate
It will enter and clear
The heart, the head will
Rid all dust and eyes
Will rub clear
Clarity is gained
Love snuffing out any
Flicker of bitterness, establishing
Peace among all
