Brokenhearted
How are You so patient?
God, people cannot be trusted
Yet You love them anyway...
Our praises are dutiful
Full of human pride
Do we not know that the Kingdom of Heaven
Is given to the humble?
We're a bunch of Sunday-morning Christians
The other six days of the week
We deny God in what we do
Salvation is no where in our vocabulary
And Christ went extinct in our lives
Until the next church service
When we see fit to bring our
Self-centered praise to him
You say that a broken heart
You would never despise
Are our hearts ever truly broken over our sin?
We feel that we are worthy
We seem to be deceivingly hopeful
The truth is...
We are undeserving
